The owner dashboard
Updated
Your dashboard is a weekly read on whether the team is sharing their work — the funnel, not the wallet. It rebuilds itself every Monday on your salon's clock, so the week you're looking at is your week.
On the web: Dashboard
Participation
The big number, top left: the share of your roster who posted this week. Under it, the plain-English version ("4 of 7 people have posted this week"), the change in points versus last week, and an eight-week sparkline so you can tell a slow week from a slide.
Posting is self-reported — a stylist taps "Yes, I posted" after handing their look to Instagram. See Weekly themes and nudges.
The KPI tiles
- Looks — looks shared this week, with the change on last week.
- Reactions — reactions your team gave each other's work.
- New notes — client notes left this week via the in-chair QR.
- Page views — views of your team's public pages.
- Booking taps — taps on a booking link from those pages. This is the one that turns posting into a chair filled.
- Booked value — owner-only, and reported for the salon as a whole. There is no per-stylist revenue figure anywhere in Embrly, by design. Managers don't see this tile at all.
- AI assists — captions your team generated on the salon's monthly pool. Aggregate only; stylists' personal generations aren't counted.
- Waiting on consent — appears only when there's something to say. It's a bare count of looks that can't be shared until the client says yes: no thumbnails, no client names, no stylist attribution. Consent is granted in the app, at the chair.
Under the tiles, a line tells you how many views came from Discover this week and your top traffic source.
The team list
One row per person: whether they posted this week (or when they last did), then their looks, page views, booking taps and notes for the week, plus their streak.
Kudos sits on each row. One tap sends a thank-you; it reads the same whether you sent it from the desk or from the app, and it's once per person per week. It's the cheapest tool on this page and the most effective.
Owners who don't take clients can hide themselves from the roster and leaderboards while keeping full access — that's the "List me on the roster" toggle in your profile settings.
Streaks
A streak is consecutive weeks with at least one shared look, counted per person per location. It's a participation streak — Embrly's leaderboards rank taking part, never follower counts.
The rest of the page
- Activity wall — what happened this week, in order.
- Every location — for multi-location brands, a posted/total pulse per shop. See Multi-location salons.
- Top post this week — the look with the most reactions from the team.
- Use your team's looks — consented work your stylists shared, ready to save for the salon's own posts. Tag the stylist when you use it; the credit going back to them is the point.
- Salon gallery — looks stylists contributed to the salon, including work they haven't posted themselves.
What the dashboard can't show you
Not "doesn't" — can't. You will never see a stylist's unshared captures, their unconsented client photos, their Instagram account, their follower count, or what they earn. Those boundaries are enforced in the database, so they hold everywhere, not just on this page. The dashboard exists to show you where the energy is so you can grow people, and stops there.
