Multi-location salons

Updated

If you own more than one shop, Embrly groups them under one brand. Each location keeps its own team, invites, themes, streaks and dashboard; you get one login, a cross-location view, and one bill.

On the web: Dashboard · In the app: Home → + Add a location

Adding a location

Tap + Add a location at the bottom of Home in the app — it's owner-only. The first time you use it, Embrly creates the group for your brand and puts your existing salon in it, then creates the new location inside that group. Each location is a full salon: its own team, invite codes, themes, wins feed and dashboard.

You're automatically an owner of every location in the group, so nothing extra needs granting.

Switching between locations

Anyone with more than one active membership gets a switcher — that's you across your locations, and equally a stylist who works at two of them. On the web, a row of location chips sits at the top of the Dashboard, Team and Themes pages. In the app, the location switcher lives on Home.

The cross-location view

Under your KPIs the dashboard shows Every location: one row per shop with "posted / total" for the week and the top streak there. Tap a row to switch the whole dashboard to that location. It's a read-only pulse — kudos and invites stay inside a location, where they belong.

Themes across locations

Themes are per-location by default. When you plan a week on Dashboard → Themes and own more than one shop, you get a Set for all locations checkbox: it writes that theme to every location for that week. After that they diverge freely, so one shop can run its own thing the next week without untangling anything.

One bill, one shared seat pool

A group bills on the Salon Scale plan, and the group — not each location — is the customer. Seats are counted as distinct people across all your locations: you count once even though you're an owner everywhere, and a stylist who floats between two shops counts once too.

In Settings → Billing your locations collapse into a single billing block showing the plan and "X of Y seats used" for the whole group. Individual locations don't get their own plan cards — that's deliberate, and it's what stops a brand from being charged twice for the same team.

Managing six or more locations? There's a "Let's talk" link in that billing block; the group plan has no hard cap on locations, but at that size it's worth a conversation.

Brand cross-links on your public pages

Each location keeps its own public page — better for "salon near me" searches in each city than one page for the whole brand. The pages link to each other with an Also at row listing your other locations, so a client who finds one shop can see the rest of the brand.

Location managers

If you're not on the floor at every shop, promote someone at each one. See The manager role — managers run their location and never see revenue.
