Finding a stylist on Embrly

If you are looking for someone to do your hair, Embrly is a place to see the work first and the person second. Every photo on the public side of Embrly is a real before-and-after from a real appointment, posted by the stylist who did it, with a consent record from the person in the chair. You can browse all of it for free, without an account.

Start with the work: Discover

Discover leads with the looks. The main column is a feed of recent transformations — tap any photo to flip it and see the before. Above the feed is a row of dropdowns that narrow things down: Technique, Color, Texture, Length, sometimes a general Craft group, and City.

Those dropdowns are not filters that disappear when you leave. Each option opens its own page — /discover/balayage, /discover/gilbert-az — that you can bookmark, share, or come back to. A specialty page shows the looks tagged with that work plus the stylists who do it; a city page shows the salons and stylists working there.

Beside the feed (below it, on a phone) is a rail of Stylists and Salons. A card marked Featured or Spotlight is a paid or comped placement — it sits alongside the ordinary results, it does not replace them.

Browse people and places directly

If you would rather scan names than photos, /stylists lists every stylist on Embrly with their city, their top specialties, and their kudos count. /salons does the same for salons, with the city and team size. Tap any specialty chip on a card to jump to that specialty's page.

Reading a stylist's page

Every stylist has a page at embrly.app/@theirhandle. What you will find there:

• The work. Their looks, each one flippable to the before. Tap a look to open its own page, which shows the caption, the tags, and roughly when it was posted.
• The basics. Photo, name, bio, and — if they have them — links to Instagram, TikTok, or their own website.
• Services I provide and Products I use, so you know before you sit down whether they do the thing you want and work with the line you like.
• Where they have worked, including their current salon.
• Verified client notes. These can only be written by someone who was actually in the chair, using a one-time link the stylist hands out at the end of an appointment. That is why there are not many of them and why they are worth reading.
• Kudos and milestones — appreciation from the Embrly community and marks for consistent work. Embrly does not display follower counts anywhere.

Salon pages live at the same kind of address. They show the team, the products the salon uses, client notes, and clickable service chips over the team's gallery. If the salon is one of several locations under the same brand, an Also at row links to its sister locations.

Reaching out and booking

The button in the top corner of a stylist's page (and pinned to the bottom of the screen on a phone) is how you get in touch. What it says depends on what that stylist has set up:

• Book with [name] — opens their own booking link.
• DM [name] to book — opens their Instagram, if they take bookings there.
• Visit website — opens their site.

If a stylist has none of those set up yet, no button appears. In that case use the social links on their page, or contact the salon directly.

Booking happens with the stylist or the salon, on whatever system they already use. Embrly does not take the appointment, hold a deposit, or sit between you and your stylist.
