Daily Focus

Daily Focus is your own content calendar. You pick a post idea for each day you work — once — and it repeats on a four-week cycle. Instead of standing in the salon at 6pm wondering what to post, you open the app and it already knows.

In the app: Home → the Daily Focus card, or the "See today's focus" action in My Brief.

How it works

You fill in a grid: four weeks down, weekdays across. Each cell gets an idea from a library of prompts, grouped into Haircuts, Colors, Add-Ons, Texture, Face, Stylist Faves, Get to Know Me, Behind the Scenes, and Team.

An empty cell is a day off. The days you leave blank are the days the app stays quiet — the grid is how you tell Embrly your schedule.

After week four, the rotation starts again at week one and keeps going. A long month just keeps rolling and a short month never breaks it, so you never have to re-plan a calendar.

Setting it up

1. Open Daily Focus from the Home card.
2. Tap a day row. A picker slides up with the library grouped by category; tap an idea to assign it.
3. Fill in Week 1 for the days you work.
4. Tap Use Week 1 for every week if you'd rather post the same rhythm each week. That's the fastest way to a full plan.
5. Go back and vary weeks 2–4 whenever you feel like it. Four different weeks is what keeps a month from looking repetitive.

Twenty minutes here buys you a month.

Day to day

Once you have a plan, the Home card speaks on planned days: it shows today's idea and a Post it → link straight into the camera. On a day you left blank it says Rest day — nothing planned, so the card never disappears and the planner is always one tap away.

Open Daily Focus and today's card gives you three moves:

• Post it — go shoot it.
• Swap — pick a different idea for today only. Your grid is untouched.
• Skip today — nothing planned for today after all. Undo puts it back.

Swap and Skip exist because the app can't see your appointment book. If today's focus is brows and no brow client is coming in, swap it. The prompts are also written as post this, not do this — posting from your camera roll counts, so a swap isn't always necessary.

Morning reminders

There's a Morning reminder switch inside Daily Focus. Turn it on and you get a push at 8:00 on the days you have something planned. It's off by default, because a reminder you didn't ask for is just noise.

The Home card and the My Brief inbox row show up whether or not the push is on — the switch only controls the notification. Your quiet hours and nudge-day preferences from Settings are still respected.

Solo vs. team

Daily Focus is yours and stays yours. If you work at a salon, your owner's weekly theme and your Daily Focus run side by side — the theme is what the salon is rallying around, the focus is your own rhythm. Neither replaces the other, and your owner can't see or edit your Daily Focus plan.

A few library prompts are salon-only and simply don't appear if you're working independently.
